Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure Plans
Pacific Petroleum, located in Southern California, has over 30 years in the petroleum engineering, construction and equipment business. We have been writing SPCC reports for our customers since 2008 when the Federal EPA SPCC regulations, 40 CFR 112, were first finalized.
SPCC Regulations
The EPA requires that certain facilities develop and implement a SPCC Plan. The intent of the SPCC Plan, otherwise known as a “Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure Plan”, is to prevent petroleum products and non-petroleum oils from reaching the nations waterways.
If you have over a capacity for 1,320 gallons of oil in aboveground storage tanks, than you may need an SPCC plan.
SPCC Plans
Do you need an SPCC report? We can help. We not only understand the Federal SPCC rule but also California’s Aboveground Petroleum Storage Act. We will write the right SPCC report for your facility that will fulfill federal and state regulations and also enable you to provide safer work site.
Three levels of SPCC reports
Federal SPCC rules allow for different types of SPCC reports depending on the size and history of oil discharges at your facility. We have extensive experience in writing all three types of SPCC reports.
